This little light fits in the pocket on my shirt. I carry one at work all the time, as I am always needing a light to see small numbers on our product. One LED is not really bright but it is enough to see most any small objectThe flashlight's finish is beautiful - it is entirely anodized ("brushed") aluminum, with rubber grips in just the right places to allow you to rest the flashlight on your head, or between your teeth, when you need those two hands free ;-) To summarize, this is the most practical flashlight I've ever seen. If you're looking for a super-flashlight to light up the radius of a mile for a week, look elsewhere. But if you're looking for a simple but convenient flashlight to use frequently in your home, this is the perfect flashlight.

Great every day carry back twisty (also momentarily activated by rear-pressure when set correctly). Supposedly lasts 6 hours on a single battery. (I've had one over a year and still haven't had to replace the battery) Optic creates a perfectly round spot that measures approximately 15 inches across from 3 feet away. Tint is on the purple side. Enough light for walking and for many around-the-house tasks. I have 3 - one that was given to me that I've travelled with and otherwise keep at home, one that I often take with me to work, and one that I keep in the car. The latter 2 I purchased through DorcyDirect.com. One was like the original I had - red exterior, spot enhancing optics, but varied on the output color - a more purple tinge. The second (same model number & everything) came WITHOUT optics and had a gold color exterior. That's the one I keep in the car. It's still a decent light (more of a blueish beam color tinge) but not far as useful as the red ones with optics. Make sure if you order, that you get either a RED one, or have DorcyDirect check it for the round-magnifying optics lens before shipping. In my opinion it's what makes this flashlight so good.
