The best gift I have given, purchased one for husband, father and father-in-law.

We bought ours back in 2011,we have 3 batteries for it all we need . Have dropped it so many times overcharge it could care less about not doing that,all 3 batrreies are just fine we charge down then let it go 12-15 hours to redo.. never have had any of the bad things the other reviewers talk about??? had it more then a year,of course it throws rings, look up cree who makes the Q4 light in it,tis also wrapped in a krypton bulb with the led, google Cree and read about it, we did it uses ni-cads to keep the heat factor down,only get 1-2 hours out of a charge, so drop a little bit for ni-cads wish we could find a charger to do all at 1 time.

Light used in a US Nuclear power plant. This light is an absolute Goliath of light throwing power!~ I can shine to the top of our colling towers with this bad boy! It comes with a rechargable battery and both the car 12V charger and a standard 110V home charger. The lighting is very intense, and for my use, I can not use it for close distance inspections because it is so bright that you lose visual acuity with the insane output of this light. For doing general walkdowns and leakage inspections in overhead areas, this light turns darkness into daylight! The alluminum housing of this model does a great job at shedding heat so the light will only get slightly warm to the hand. The build material and thickness makes this a very robust design that can be used in high temperatures and rugged conditions. One more DORCY light that I highly recomend!

great very bright, use it for security work and it is great.

It is really bright and it worked good for the first year. Then the resistor to the bulb circuit broke inside the head assembly. Of course there is zero support from Dorcy, I soldered and is lasted another two years and the rubber button cover wore out then the switch stopped working. I'm done with dorcy.
