Bought 2 of these for a snorkel trip to Cozumel. Out of the box they were very bright but once my wife and I got them into the water at night, we were both very impressed. Granted we were in very clear water and only snorkeling but these things put out a beam underwater that gives the fish a sunburn! Excellent value when looking at other brands of dive lights. Highly recommended!!!

Just got the light and took it out in the field. Amazing light intensity and lit up some docks and marine areas from distances I could never get with other hand held lights on my boat. I haven't used it yet for diving, although had to test it in our pool and hot tub...WOW! lit the place up like New Years. Not too keen about needing 6 batteries however if this lasts as lllong as they indicate with the observed brightness and beam power, it's worth it. This light is just part of my Dorcy light collection for use in my cars, home, outdoors, boat and now for diving. I have 7 Dorsey lights and expect ot buy more for my family. My sons are after this light already for hunting, guess I know some good gifts for special occassions. Using their discounts for multiple items and offers, this is a no brainer to buy their lights.

I have had 2 of these lights. I owned the first one for about a year. I lost it on a dive. I liked it so much, I bought the exact same one, and am thinking of getting another. It is super bright, very high quality and cheap to operate because of long lasting, very inexpensive batteries. Love it!

I've used this light for over a year. Works great, no leaks. It gets a little harder to turn on and off below 150 ft depth, but not a problem. This is a much better value than a plastic UK light. Improvements desired: A decent rubber collar to go around the light head..
