Got this light to use on night hikes, but what I don't like about it is it gets dim pretty quick, I wish it would stay bright the whole time. After 20 min or so into my hike I feel like I need to change the batteries because the output is almost the same as my 200 lumen backup light.

Wow! This is not your fathers flashlight! I couldn't believe how bright it was when I first turned it on. And I really like the dual brightness feature - the brightest stage is great for when you are outside and the lowest stage is good for indoors. I haven't owned many flashlights to compare it against but I love this thing. Good job Dorcy - you should market this a little more aggressively.

My wife bought me one of these lights back in December and have been very impressed with it. I like the light so much that i bought one for my Dad and father in law as a fathers day gifts and both of them now say it is the best gift i have ever got them. Go figure.

I have had this light for a month now and can say that it is not regulated. Their 5 hour run time claim is not at full brightness. The light puts out 600 lumens for maybe the first few minutes and then constantly declines in output. I get pretty decent output for maybe the first hour or so and then it gets noticeably dimmer and dimmer until the batteries are exhausted. The build quality is good on the other hand and seems it could take a few drops and still work.

I just got this today in the mail and it's very nice. I see some other comments of it compared to some other lights, well the only light I have to compare it to is the Streamlight UltraStinger and this metal gear XL-M light completely kills my UltraStinger! I thought my UltraStinger was the brightest light there was lol.

Does not have the "throw" of the Dorcy 220 Lumens Rechargeable LED, but it puts out much more light at closer ranges and overall. Very bright. Again, as with other Dorcy products, you will likely not find another light in this price range/features that will out perform it.

daaaang this light is bright! It keeps up with my Brinkman 3MIL CP spotlight! I'm amazed.

Awesome light! It out throws my Fenix TK35 and runs forever. It's a keeper for sure. With over 600 lumens out the front, you just can't beat it for the price.

(Dorcy, PLEASE, PLEASE put up a video for this light)Oh man, I haven't been on this website for over 6 months and I can't wait until payday! This is one of the coolest flashlights I have ever seen. Leave it to Dorcy to come up with some crazy bright light like this. I still use my 4D Mag-lite that is like 60 lumens and I thought that was bright, but 600 lumens??? That's completely insane! Well I'm very excited to get this light....
