Hard to use with one hand. The recessed switch keeps it from turning on accedently but makes using your thumb to activate it difficult. We were issued these at work and two of the 12 people have switches that seem to be defective - they only stay on if held down.

I have used this light for 2 years both at my job working at an airport and working for a search and rescue team. Great light. Battery life is excellent I have changed the batteries 3 times in 2 years. Light output is great as well. very rugged light I cannot count the number of times I have dropped, kicked, stepped on, dropped in Jet fuel, I have even ran it over once with a truck. The only damage to this light is the paint is scratched. I recommend dorcy lights to all my co-workers. My next one will be a dorcy 6 watt true tactical (as soon as it becomes available) If you are looking for a small functional light buy this one.
